HIIII it's been a while... I know I'm a bit late to writing this but I have excuses as always!!! First of all I was planning on doing this much sooner but my artist decided to lock in and redraw EVERY SPRITE IN THE GAME so for most of the month shes been redrawing every sprite and only yesterday did she finish them all but that's not the only reason this is taking so long, she also wants to redo the CGs and we haven't started on those yet (plus maybe a new one). She has to go away for the weekend and we both decided that when she gets home there wont be enough time to draw three cgs so we decided to just release a devlog talking about all of this. BUT art isn't the only thing getting added in this update... I finally finished the discord server! I'm not uploading it YET but when the art update releases I will put the link here and on the main page. I would like to talk about a few of the things on discord before going any further with update talk. First of all, devlogs will still be posted here monthly BUT on the discord I will be giving constant updates instead of one every month I'll just go onto the discord and yap about the same stuff I do here but more often. People on the discord will get to see teasers of upcoming updates (for example if the server was up at this time you would have already seen teasers for the new sprites). 

Back to update stuff! So recently I got my wisdom teeth out (I got them out tuesday) and it's been fucking awful BUT I've been home recovering so on top of finally finishing reading Echo I went and added a cool new feature to replaced. In the upcoming update whenever a characters name is said it will be the color of the name that is shown when they speak. so for instance if there was a line in a previous build that said "Chris, I need you to purchase me eras tour tickets ASAP" now the word "Chris" will be colored. I thought it made reading the game a bit more fun and the artist fucks with it so I went and did it for the following characters: Chris, Powder, Lilac, Adien, Krux, Luci, and Caeser. Any important characters in the future (anyone with sprites) will be getting this same treatment. 

The art update will most likely launch in very early may or very late april, it depends how fast the artist draws the cgs. NOW FOR CHAPTER 4 NEWS!!!!! It's going VERY well, it's gone from the most annoying to write to my favorite by far. since chapter 4 gives so SO much lore I've got to think a lot more about the lore and ways I can foreshadow upcoming plot events and oh my god it is so much fun to do I'm so excited to see peoples theories on this games story it makes me giggle and kick my feet just thinking about it.  But also to be fair theres like 6 people that actually like this game so I probably wont be seeing too many theories... But who the fuck cares. 6 is better than 0. Anyways I added my favorites from the new sprites as teasers here so I hope you fuck with them. I'll be seeing you (yes YOU) on the discord soon... SOON...
